  Iran & other "unnamed" countries, already have several. Russia and the US have the receipts to prove it.

  Beleive it or not. all of this escalation over WMDs is nothing new. It is all part of a world wide plan to bring everyone under a "One World Government."-To give up freedoms, etc. sort of like being in the Borg-Org all over again!! I know, you are thinking Bull Sh*t. Right? Well, the TRUTH IS STRANGER THAN FICTION. (NO PUN INTENDED).

  My advice? Know your possible survival situations and what you might have to DO to protect yourself and family-- and plan for it! Plan for the worst and hope for the best.

  I won't get into survival stuff but, NOW is a good time to start planning, learning, thinking and..........................

  it is all up to YOU.

  Repressed, Triggered and Recovered Memories

  first of all, let me say that many, if not most, of my memories of abuse and early childhood were recovered.

  some people feel that this diminishes my experience, or in some way denies what happened.

  i suffered from major depression and was quite suicidal for 2 years before something happened to trigger my memories.

  Simon,

  Your posts are all right. If they are controversial, so what? A lot of people want to be apologized to and feel good as if they really accomplished something. Simply tell them to deal with the post and work it out themselves. Too many people are out to win a popularity contest or look for recognition. Tell them to go back to high school. You can't please people all the time and you should not have to!. After all, how many skeletons are in the closets of all of the participants? I'll bet a lot more than we will ever know or care to!

  If many of the people on this forum have been through the WTB&TS, surely they can deal with controversial posts and opinions and statements on the extreme.

  All of your posts have been within the guidelines. I never read the guidelines anyway. I try to keep it civil. If people are so easily offended, they should just go away and cry in the corner as this forum is no place for them and they are not ready for reality.

  If things get out of hand, hit the delete button! Other than that, carry on!

  Polls are good to talk about and foolish people think polls are the word of God. Polls can be easily manipulated just like statistics. It is done all the time in all walks of life. The gullible public will believe anything! Politicians bet their careers and life on them all the time. But then they "own" the big media circus.

  Most of the time the United states should keep their mouth shut and their nose out of other countries' business. That would take care of most of our problems. If someone screws with us (the US) we should just try to settle the matter the quickest way possible without killing.

  The sick truth: However, if that does not work, like I said before, God knows that some people MUST die. So, I am all for putting the fear of God into people that would do harm to us. After the first billion people perish, the rest of the world should know enough to leave the innocent people alone. If not, oh well! ---- Then it is my turn..........................

  if a jw manages to get further education (or did before conversion) and say become a professional such as a doctor.....are they allowed to perform blood transfusions?

  The WTB&TS will change it's "man-made" rules when enough people fight back and sue the crap out of anyone and everyone that attempts to dictate your own "professional" choices.

  In reality, if a doctor refused to give/administer a "common" treatment which could save a life and if the patient died because of "his-her" decision which was/is based on the JW doctrine and not based on Scientific fact and practice; the doctor and the WTB&TS can be held criminally liable. The WTB&TS is very careful to cover their tracks on this one!

  Baptism in the name of WHO???

  i was reading craigsa's post from his mother to his wife regarding how jws are baptized....and they arent baptized in the name of the father son and holy ghost as she so pointedly said twice.

  all you jws out there who browse this forum...listen up!!

  here are the questions you are asked when you are baptized and the changes to them over the years....do you see fs and hg mentioned anywhere here???.
